The unique partnership between Germany and France is demonstrated at the United Nations as well as in Europe. The UN missions of both countries are working together closely and will intensify their cooperation even further once Germany becomes a member of the Security Council in January 2019. Ambassador Heusgen, Ambassador Delattre and their respective teams meet regularly to discuss joint projects and agenda items in order to achieve a common goal of strengthening the international, rules-based, multilateral order.
